A senior opportunity to join a recognised commercial property practice within a well-established regional firm. The team sits at the centre of the firm's business offering and is known for handling a broad mix of investment, development, landlord and tenant and portfolio work for a wide range of commercial clients.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll take a lead role within the commercial property group, guiding the local team while managing a varied and high-value caseload.
- Leading the commercial property team in your base office and helping shape its strategic growth
- Running complex transactions across acquisitions, disposals, development sites, property finance and landlord and tenant matters
- Advising businesses, investors, developers, charitable bodies and public sector clients across a broad commercial real estate portfolio
- Managing leasehold work including agreements for lease, renewals, variations, rent review and occupational matters
- Providing property support on corporate transactions, working closely with colleagues on M&A deals
- Overseeing portfolio and estate management work, including ongoing advisory support for long-standing clients
- Collaborating with planning, construction and property litigation specialists to deliver joined-up, full-service advice
- Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and external professionals such as agents, surveyors and accountants
- Mentoring junior members of the team and supporting their development
About You
You will be an experienced commercial property lawyer ready for either an immediate Partnership role or a clear progression pathway as a Senior Associate.
- 6+ years' PQE with experience across the core areas of commercial property
- Proven ability to lead client relationships and manage complex transactional work
- Confident managing and developing a team
- Commercially minded with a practical, solutions-focused approach
- Comfortable with business development and contributing to wider practice growth
- Strong communication skills and the ability to give clear, grounded advice
